Why I Teach at St. Michael School The small school community facilitates each student being seen, known, and supported. The students, families, and staff are very dedicated to helping the students develop academically and spiritually.
My Philosophy of Teaching It is my privilege to support my students as they develop into the people God has called them to be. As a Spanish language teacher, I am committed to helping students strengthen their home language and build skills in a second language, while connecting more deeply with their own and other cultures and communities. As a Resource Support teacher, I seek to help students access the strategies and resources that will help them meet their academic goals with confidence and agency.
My Background I have nine years of experience teaching dual immersion (English/Spanish) in grades 3 through 7. This is my second-year teaching middle-school Spanish.
My Life Outside St. Michael I enjoy reading, taking walks, learning new things, and having adventures with my family.
