When I decided to pursue teaching, I wanted to be a Kindergarten teacher or possibly teach math. I love Math! But God led me to St. Michael School when an Art teacher was needed. It’s such a pleasure to be at St. Michael School and be surrounded by great kids and families.
My Philosophy of Teaching
I love introducing art to our students and helping them express themselves through creativity. We always have a wonderful time! Our art class is a place where we not only learn from one another but also strive to be great leaders.
My Background
I have a degree in accounting. Having my own kids made me realize just how much I adore being around the little ones! Therefore, I went back to school and completed a minor in early childhood development. Pursuing the art field felt natural because it has always been a passion of mine.
My Life Outside St. Michael
When I am not busy chauffeuring my kids to their various sports practices and games, you can usually find me attending a cycle class, reading, or gardening. On the weekends, I like to go on adventures or go hiking. I also love creating art and miniatures.
