Why I Teach at St. Michael School I enjoy working at St. Michael School because it gives me the opportunity to teach both academics and the Catholic faith. I love being able to help my students grow not only as learners, but also as young people who are developing their faith and relationship with God.
My Philosophy of Teaching My teaching philosophy is built around the famous quote, “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” I believe children learn best when they are actively involved in the learning process.
My Background I have a Masters in Teaching and a Teacher Credential from USF. I taught Kindergarten and third grade and am currently teaching 2nd grade. I have been teaching within the Oakland Diocese since 2014.
My Life Outside St. Michael I like to spend time with my family, scrapbook, crochet, travel, and relax on a quiet sunny beach.
